Women are important pillars in strengthening the foundations of healthy families and communities. Providing young women with proper comprehensive education will empower them to make healthy sexual decisions that will improve their lives and those of their families and their communities.
Sante Fanm ak Lafanmi is a 501 (c ) 3 non-profit organization initiated in the United States to provide educative healthcare services primarily in Haiti. This organization has no political affiliations or motivation. We are dedicated to health care and social services for low income and no income women who have contracted common or life-threatening sexually transmitted infections. We are also committed to promoting and facilitating access to an already limited range of clinical services and educational outreach programs. We are fundamentally inclusive and will not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, or religious affiliations.
The primary goal of the wellness center is to treat women who have acquired a sexually transmitted infection and educate them about how to protect themselves and their partner in the future. We believe that properly educated women and adolescents can positively influence their communities by spreading the knowledge that they obtained from the center regarding healthy sexual practices.
